Fished central CO these last couple weeks. Fishing ranged from average-poor to great depending on weather and flows. Water temps on the CO river were getting to mid 60s in the afternoon, so hit it early. It fished well early morning and cooler days. Had a big storm that kept the water temps down for a couple days and it fished well on those days. rolled in about 1 pm and fished til 7:30 or so on Monday. Parked at BLM then walked to bottom of quality and fished back up. Started out hopper dropper and ended just taking dropper off as it was just getting in the way. First fish was my biggest of trip and was right around 21" or so. Ended up catching 4 real fish and 4 or 5 stockers (reason dropper came off). Was a very enjoyable afternoon with great weather. Tuesday we parked T-hole and walked down to lower flats.
