FARMINGTON, N.M. -- Well-tanned and with an easy-going demeanor, Curtis Bailey doesn't strike you as a workaholic.

a disturbing amount of sand and mud has washed out from the wash down.
i counted 5 trees that are out in the river, and tons of sand. The lower river will not be fishing for awhile.

spent the weekend fishing up by the dam, sat morning for myself sunday with my new buddies caddisaction, Knute and dustin. The fishing was very good, we hooked up right away and the action stayed consistent (not crazy good) but solid all day. We had a good morning in the catch and release and worked the main channel in the afternoon for some nice fish. The small foam backs, and kf emergers were very consistent.
