Just got back from a couple days on the river. Brought the wife this time and we tried D's B&B. I highly recommend it, especially if you have a non-fishing companion. Great breakfasts, wine in the afternoon, a huge porch to relax on and quiet at night. Only about $90 a night. http://www.dsbandb.com/

heyy whats up im new to this forum... thought it would be a good idea to get some expert knowledge before i make my way out there. Me and 3 friends are planning a road trip out to navajo lake/san juan river area. we are goin the 2nd week of july. its pretty much just campin for us. and none of us are experenced fly fisherman. ive never held a rod. im bring out my spinning rods. any ideas? or pointers u guys can give?

First let me say that the San Juan is like heaven to me and my brother! We got together last year after the passing of my mother to go out and "get away" from the world and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time! He has been a few times and it was actually my first time fly fishing. I live in OKC and am going to go get some gear next week.. Some waders, a starter rod, etc..
